Creating new designs from scratch or developing/improving existing ones, a combination of traditional and modern methods are used - initial rough ideas are often cut using a cutting mat and a scalpel. If they look promising they are 'digitised' and refined and perfected prototypes cut using a CAD/CAM cutting table. Thanks to digital photography, progress reports can be sent to the client for immediate feedback. Digital photos can also be used to show assembly....folding of flaps etc. (see slideshow below)
